I'm not technical. Can I still use ApkSee?
Yes. Drop an app file into ApkSee and it shows the screens, what each one does and what might be risky, in plain language. Recording a playbook is like recording a video: you do the task once, ApkSee repeats it.
Is it legal to analyze apps?
Analyzing apps you own, build, or have written permission to test is legal and common practice in security testing and QA. Our Acceptable Use Policy forbids analyzing apps without authorization, breaking third-party terms, or using automation to harm others. You are responsible for having the rights to what you analyze.
Do my apps or results get uploaded?
No. Analysis runs on your computer. The only thing ApkSee sends to us is a license check with your license ID and a hashed device ID that cannot be turned back into your hardware details. Details are in our privacy policy .
Which devices can I use?
Android phones over USB, Android emulators, and Android containers on your own Linux servers. Team plans can combine all of them into device pools managed from one panel.
Do I need to root my phone?
Static analysis needs nothing but the app file. Live exploration works best on an emulator, a test device or a container you control. ApkSee's setup check tells you exactly what is missing.
What about macOS?
ApkSee runs on Windows 10 and 11 today. The macOS version for Apple silicon and Intel is in development; join the waitlist and we'll email you once it's ready. Your license will work on both.
How do licenses and seats work?
Each seat is one license key for one computer. Team plans buy several seats and the owner hands out keys. You can move a key to a new computer from your account.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel in your account or via the cancellation page . Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Invoices are available in your account.
Do you offer invoices, VAT reverse charge and purchase orders?
Every purchase gets a proper invoice by email and in your account. EU businesses with a valid VAT ID are billed net with reverse charge. Enterprise can pay by bank transfer on invoice.
How does the launch offer work?
Yearly Pro and Team plans bought during the launch get 50% off the first year. After 12 months the plan renews at the regular yearly price, which you see before you pay. You can cancel before the renewal date, and private customers can also cancel with one month's notice after the first year.
Can I get my money back?
Try everything that matters on the Free plan first, and check your use case with us before buying. Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal. If you ask us to activate your license right away, you agree that the right of withdrawal ends when we deliver it; otherwise we activate the license after 14 days.
